Looks like the last enduro of the year has been cancelled. Not sure
why, has something to do with permits and/or weather.

It's a drag, but it sure makes our life much easier. I told Eric the
news while he was in the garage trying to find out where all the water
in his oil is coming from. He took a deep breath, put his tools away
and came upstairs. I think he's secretly happy.

Water pump seal got replaced last week before the WFO when the nice
oil/water mixture was first discovered. If it was a leaky base gasket
and/or head gasket, wouldn't there be a noticeable differnce in how it
runs? Eric says it's running great. It likes the cold damp weather.

I understand they have a considerable amount of snow on the trails.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I'm taking the day off work to go ride their course with my friend Jerry.
Won't be long before Elkins Flat is closed for the winter anyway. Supposed
to rain this weekend so this should be a nice ride.

All teh more reason to suspect the water pump seal. If the shaft was
grooved, it won't let the new seal do its job properly. Or if the new
seal wasn't installed correctly.

Is this a two stroke? If so, the head gasket won't let water get into
the coolant. The base gasket is a stretch. It would be *possible* but
very unlikely.
